AIDS 2012 Media Training
A comprehensive two-day media training event will be held prior to the start of the conference on Saturday 21, 10am - 5pm
, and Sunday 22 July 2012, 10am - 12 noon
at the Voice of America premises in Washington D.C.
The media training will be open to AIDS 2012 media scholarship recipients and registered media delegates on a first come first serve basis with a maximum of 350 participants.

The media training will offer a wide array of presentations delivered by experts working in the HIV field and will cover science, community and policy issues. Among the organizations partnering in the media training are: AIDS.gov, Andrey Rylkov Foundation for Health and Social Justice, Black AIDS Institute, Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI), National Press Foundation, National Institutes of Health (NIH), POZ, Treatment Action Group, UNAIDS, U.S. Positive Women’s Network, SIDACTION, Voice of America (VOA) and Washington Blade.
